The Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) Committee invites all parishioners to come together from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11 in the Camillia Room for a viewing of the film The Letter and small- and large-group discussion. This film shares themes from Pope Francis' encyclical letter Laudato Si' through the stories of 5 characters: a young climate activist from India, an Indigenous leader from Brazil, a young man experiencing poverty and climate change in Senegal, and two wildlife biologists from Hawaii. We will show the film in two rooms: one for English viewing, and another for Spanish viewing. There will be interpretation for the large-group discussion. Refreshments will be served.
