A 2020 Adult Faith Formation Series, a joint venture of St. Camillus, St. John the Baptist, St. Patrick’s Catholic churches and neighboring parishioners
Monday, November 23, 7-8:30 PM Presenters Sister Patricia Chappell and Sister Anne-Louise Nadeau will offer a framework for conversations on systemic racism and elaborate on a set of anti-racism transformational values. They will demonstrate constructive dialogue, lead us in exploring why it is difficult to talk about race and racism, and make concrete suggestions for charting a new way to help proclaim the prophetic dimension of our church. Drawing on their 21 years of working as a bi-racial team, presenting, facilitating and consulting with religious congregations of women and men in the U.S. on dismantling racism, the session leaders will challenge us to speak the truth in love for our church. “What can we create together?” is the pivotal question that will guide their work with us. Please help to get the word out about this important session in your churches, among friends and in your community. You can register at: Register in advance for this meeting: Welcome!
