Finding God in a Secular Age: November 17, 12:PM – 1:30PM,
Resurrection Catholic Church, Youth Room. All of us live within a secular world that makes it difficult to find God at work anywhere. This world makes it easy even for a person of faith to be oblivious to God’s activity and not even care about God.
So how can we find God in our secular age? We need a new way of understanding and imagining God’s presence and activity in our world. In this talk, we will reflect upon three ways of understanding and reimagining God’s activity in the world that will make it much easy to find God in all situations.
Presenter: Dr. Ed McCormack who is on the formation faculty at
Theological College and serves as a deacon at St. John the Baptist. This is part of our
Living the Gospel series, a partnership of three parishes: St. Camillus, St. John the Baptist, and Resurrection.
