Scouting has a long history in our parish over the last 65 years. Last year, Boy Scouts (Troop and Den 432) came back after a few years' hiatus. 432 meets on Tuesday evenings (usually in the gym). Boys in grades 4 and above are welcome to join them any time!
Girl Scouts meets on Saturday mornings in the Clare Center. Boy Scouts meets on Tuesday evenings.
Girl Scouts of the USA is the world's preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls---girls----where, in an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adult volunteers, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives, like leadership, strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self worth. Girl Scouts are open to girls between the ages of 5 years and 18 years and meet Saturday morning, accordingly to age between the hours of 10 am and 2:00 pm, in the Clare Center.
If you would like more information on joining or would be interested in serving as an adult leader, please contact: Sandi, phone 240.888.2982, email [email protected] or Rebecca Jackson, phone 301.346.2192 or e-mail, [email protected].
